In what has become an annual tradition, the firm hosted its St. Patrick’s Day Celebration, sharing some Irish cheer with friends, clients and colleagues, both old and new, amidst a sea of green. This year’s celebration also marked the firm’s 55th year serving the South Florida and global community in the fields of patent, trademark and copyright law.

Highlighting this year’s annual St. Patrick’s Day party, which marked the firm’s 55th year, was a special presentation by School Board Member Raquel Regalado, on behalf of the City of Miami and Mayor Tomás Regalado, officially saluting the life, contribution, and service of John Cyril Malloy, Jr. to South Florida, and in particular, the City of Miami.

Former member of Florida House of Representatives and Adjunct Law Professor at University of Miami School of Law. John Cyril Malloy, a Miami resident and pioneer since 1959, died on Sunday, March 2, 2014 in Coral Gables, FL.
As a member of the Gold Coast Venture Capital Association’s Board of Directors, firm associate Jason LaCosse co-hosted the inaugural GCVCA Expo in Boca Raton on February 26, 2014. The exposition drew an overflow crowd for networking among startups, venture investors, and service providers. More than 300 people attended the event, which showcased over twenty South Florida startup companies.
