Mr. Woodard is a Partner with the Firm, and is a seasoned litigator who represents and defends individuals and businesses in a broad range of intellectual property matters. With over a decade of experience in state and federal courts, Mr. Woodard balances an aggressive yet pragmatic approach in order to efficiently resolve disputes for clients. Mr. Woodard is licensed to practice law in Florida and the District of Columbia, and is admitted to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States. He also represents clients in Florida state court proceedings, as well as matters pending before the U.S. Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
Mr. Woodard has served as a Chair of The Florida Bar’s Grievance Committee, and is an active member of the Federal Bar Association, the Miami Dade Bar Association, and The Federalist Society for Law and Public Policy Studies (FedSoc). Mr. Woodard obtained his law degree (cum laude) from Florida A&M College of Law, where he graduated third in his class while also serving as an editor on law review. Prior to law school, he earned his bachelor’s degree (magna cum laude) from King College, while on a full academic/athletic scholarship on the basketball team.
